Makeup Your Pride with Jecca Blac

Marconi Lounge

Date: 26.07.2022

We are delighted to announce an exciting new collaboration with makeup brand Jecca Blac, whose mission is to make all makeup wearers feel included, with an exclusive evening of makeup tips and demonstrations, in celebration of Pride.

For one night only on Tuesday 26th July, Jecca Blac will be showcasing their gender-free beauty products at our Marconi Lounge. During the free event, our visitors can enjoy an insightful makeup demonstration by Jecca Blac cosmetics, a brand carrying a mission to represent all beauty lovers: all expressions, genders, sexualities, abilities, pronouns, shapes and sizes. Here guests can learn how to contour, cover beard shadow and create a perfect base.

Founder Jessica started her makeup journey as a makeup artist on film and television sets in London, before starting up the Jecca Blac studio, where she offered a safe space for trans women to experiment with makeup. The studio soon became well established within the local trans community  as the go-to space for private makeup lessons. Clients could gain invaluable makeup knowledge in a judgement free environment, where they could gain the confidence to present themselves as their unique and true selves. From here, Jecca Blac makeup was born - a brand that truly celebrates all makeup wearers.

The first product released by Jecca Blac, which will be showcased during the demonstration, is the Correct & Conceal Palette, which was designed to help provide long lasting coverage for beard shadow, blemishes and an all over base. We are thrilled to have partnered with Jecca Blac and the exclusive evening event will be a fantastic opportunity for visitors to learn more about the brand, its products and their application.

In addition to the makeup demonstration, our visitors will be able to enjoy the hotel’s brand new Pride art exhibition, Queer Up! which will showcase notable LGBTQ+ artists.
