To celebrate the first Platinum Jubilee of the British Monarch, ME London Hotel and Gone Rogue are hosting ‘Queen of Arts’, an exhibition that celebrates The Queen through curated pieces created exclusively for ME London.
From 25th April until 30th June, London based collaborative art curators, Gone Rogue, will bring four incredible artists to ME London, including: Heath Kane, who is renowned for his iconic and memorable pieces that blend alluring colours often with dark subversive themes;
Hannah Nijsten whose unique style embraces abstract portraiture to create stand-alone pieces that are powerful yet calming;
Dan Pearce, a mixed media artist with a passion for urban art, who combines modern day influences of Dface and Shepard Fairey with the older influences of Warhol and Lichtenstein to create a unique explosion of energy and colour; and
Kristjana S Williams, an Icelandic artist who creates pieces inspired by nature.
Each piece in the Queen of Arts Exhibition is inspired by the Queen and creates an exhibition that celebrates the monarch and art in a powerful collaboration. From bold and colourful depictions, to unusual and intriguing interpretations of what it means to be the Sovereign in Britain today, the artists have each used their own unique style to pay tribute to the longest serving monarch in British history.
